Animation
I studied Animation with Adobe After Effects at University of Maryland Global Campus. Since then, I have created numerous videos using After Effects.
I have included this section on Animation simply because I wanted you to see that I have a broad range of skills necessary for web. Even though it is not listed as a job requirement, I felt that you would appreciate knowing if employees are able to step in and help in other areas if needed.
The above video is an educational video about Autism in Woman. It should be noted that I did not have the proper video or audio equipment available, so the quality is not as good, and that I had to edit the video on a small laptop with barely enough RAM to run the program so some of the effects did not work. I say this, not as an excuse, but as a means to help you see that I am an employee that believes in finding a way to accomplish what needs to be done despite challenges.
The video was originally completed as an assignment for University of Maryland Global Campus for Motion Graphics, a class about Adobe After Effects. The video has since been used as an educational video for the public. This video was my first attempt at using After Effects, but it is one of which I am very proud because it has helped some women to learn about Autism.
I produced this project for a homeschool academy for Water Colored Pencil class in 2022 using After Effects. The young lady in the video is one of the students. When I shot the video, I instructed the student to act in different ways, and then I edited the animation into the video. The academy was pleased with the final outcome. The theme was color, so I utilized color in many different ways as was appropriate to the scene.
